Gilead Sciences Korea says South Korea has sufficient supplies of remdesivir, the anti-viral drug used as a treatment for COVID-19.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, the CEO of Gilead's local unit said the company's been working closely with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency in the distribution of remdesivir, reiterating that supplies are stable.
The company also says it plans to supply an inhaled version of the drug once it completes its clinical trials.
