Despite the decision to terminate GSOMIA, Seoul continues to exchange information on North Korea with Tokyo.
Seoul's unification ministry says four of its officials will be going to Tokyo next week.
They'll meet officials from the Japanese foreign ministry and share updates about North Korea and its missile technology.
The unification ministry started such meetings with Japan, the U.S., China, and Russia in the 90s to collect data on the North.
